What is Philips Zoom?

Philips Zoom represents a cutting-edge advancement in teeth whitening treatments, offering a faster, safer, and simpler approach to achieving a radiant white smile. This efficacy is attributed in part to the specialised formula within Zoom's whitening gel.

At Willows Dental Practice, we are delighted to offer Zoom at-home whitening, the personalised home-based variant of Philips Zoom. This allows you to conveniently whiten your teeth independently and witness noticeable results in just three days.

How does the Zoom at-home whitening process work?

The Zoom whitening procedure distinguishes itself through its simplicity when compared to alternative at-home whitening methods. The process involves three straightforward steps:

  1. Initial Appointment: You'll start with a visit to our dental practice for an initial consultation. During this session, your dentist will discuss your specific requirements, ensuring that you are a suitable candidate for Zoom Whitening. An impression of your teeth will be taken during this appointment, serving as the basis for crafting customised whitening trays.

  2. Tray Fitting: At your second appointment, the dentist will ensure that your newly crafted trays fit comfortably over your teeth. Additionally, you'll receive guidance on the proper application of the Zoom whitening gel onto the trays.

  3. At-Home Application: Armed with your custom trays and whitening gel, you will wear the trays for eight hours daily at home over the next one to two weeks.

How quickly can I achieve whiter teeth with Zoom at-home whitening?

Results become evident after just three days once your custom trays are prepared. Furthermore, optimal whitening results are typically achieved within one to two weeks.

How long do the results of Zoom at-home whitening last?

Enjoy the benefits of a white smile for approximately six to twelve months. To maintain these results, we recommend returning for touch-up appointments every six months. Additionally, avoiding teeth-staining foods and beverages, such as coffee and tea, can help prolong the whitening effects.
